Don's 62 survivor

...this is a true original with the exception of little things here and there,she hasn't seen the road since '82.... 

 this is an ORIGINAL paint car!!..we are going to try and save as much of the OG paint as possible...with some blends here and there.

Disassembly

 after a few hours of dis assembly and pressure washing,it was a nice foundation for a light restoration.

After power washing and cleaning, some stuff I found....

mirror was mounted to the outside of the door,welded up the holes and putting the factory style back on...

Repairs....

After reconstructing the heater channel, this repair panel is inserted.

After welding, grinding and installing a new fender nutsert.....

Firewall repair, had to re-attach frame head mounting nutsert.....

capping the firewall.....

after a coat of primer and a custom mix of paint, all four quarters were blended, but still waiting on an OG piece to arrive for the bumper bracket

Bumper bracket arrived and it's welded in....

After rebuilding the motor, some minor bits left to stall.  Blending the fenders, it's all set!
