Cliff's '68 after it came back from being sandblasted by Josh at "Blasted" in Griswold, CT
Some issues that came to light after sandblasting.....
so Tim replaced the rocker. Here it is roughed in...heater outlets to be changed later....
Here's the package tray as Tim welds it in......
The rear apron is all wholes under that bondo....
so Tim welded in a new one
Speaker holes?....
so Tim fixed them.....
After completing all of the welding (heater channel, package tray, sections in the trunk area, fire wall pieces, rear apron and misc. rust patches) and putting the body in epoxy primer to protect the metal, Tim begins the body work and fitting the doors, hood and fenders.
The whole body is now in epoxy primer
Tim begins the final stages of body work before putting the car in sandable primer
After body work and primer, those speaker holes are finito!
After all the welidng is complete, Tim puts the whole car in another coat of primer. Now he'll continue with the body work and dry sand this coat down.
Here she is all buffed and ready to go home!!!
