Mike's Ghia

new floors are in order here!

some blistering on the back decklid....

So Tim seperates the body from the chassis....

Here it is after some powerwashing....

After some light disassembly.....

Tim replaces the floor pans....

Tim not only cuts the old pans away, but takes an impact gun and strips away all of the old metal to get down to the original junctures.

One down. one to go....

Both sides are done, but only one of the seat brackets from the original pan could be salvaged...

the passenger's side was too far gone to be used....

So now, the part is on order. After Tim welds it in, he can proceed with the chassis work....

Tim gets the seat track, welds it in.....

and the completed chassis is rhino-lined and ready to go!

Tim starts stripping the paint and finds thick bondo on the rear decklid.

Here is the rear decklid after Tim strips-off the paint and bondo

Some more rust on the rear quarter

Here she is completely stripped and ready for epoxy primer.

Here she is, ready for body work~

Here she is painted.....
