Body work and paint cover everything from dent removal and panel straightening to full paint refinishes. Surfaces are sandblasted or hand-stripped before being sealed with a high-grade epoxy. Next, all bodywork is completed, correcting imperfections and ensuring panels and body lines are as straight as possible. Finally, high-quality PPG products are used to prime, seal, and paint, applied with precision to match the original color and texture, leaving a smooth, durable, and flawless finish.
After the metal is repaired and straightened, it's time to move on to the bodywork itself. We use only the best materials from start to finish to ensure the repairs will last the lifetime of the car. This critical process is broken down into two main stages:
To achieve a perfectly smooth panel, body filler is first applied and sanded down. We leave only enough filler to address low spots and waves. This is immediately followed by applying a glazing putty to fill any minor imperfections and pinholes, preparing the surface for the next step.
The second stage involves applying a sprayable polyester used to fill any residual sanding scratches and hold down the bodywork for a perfectly level surface. This coat is then allowed to cure and is carefully sanded ('blocked') to perfection before being sealed with a 2K urethane primer in preparation for the final topcoat of paint.
